How Droll: Twee in an Infotained World

Then there is the twee culture phenomenon.  It is still here, long after kitsch comedy painted the sky black and the rules changed the proliferation of relational anti-cool, and stuck it to The Man.

The rules are make fun of television like it is now the opiate of the masses, now that religion has become more like Ibuprofen, or maybe even Bupropion.

Here is an article that will bring you to the point of acknowledging the busy populace that gives Twee culture its distinctiveness and sentimentality.

Twee is the revolution that won’t be televised. It will be harder to co-opt or normalize Twee than there was an effort at making kitsch a buzz word.
